The Role

This is a great opportunity for someone that wants to start a career in sales.  This exciting new apprenticeship empowers technical salespeople to sell proactively and with confidence.

We have selected Pareto as our training provider as they have been delivering exceptional training for over two decades across the UK offering innovative and high quality learning experiences for both learners and businesses. Pareto’s acclaimed IT sales training is now partnered with CompTIA technical training (CompTIA are the leading and trusted voice in the IT industry) to deliver this winning combination of technical and sales insight.

The day to day role will be working closely with the Regional Sales Manager and mentor from the business, the right candidate will be responsible for all areas of business development, including cold calling, canvassing, attending networking events, and email campaigns; alongside some customer care and account management.

Sales Apprenticeship: IT Technical Sales Apprenticeship Level 3

Location: Newark, NG24 3JP

Hours: Monday to Friday: 8.30 – 17.30

Duration: 12 – 15 Months with training provider Pareto

Pay: £4.70ph with quarterly increments if successful up to £6.20ph

Sales Fundamentals, Social Media, IT Fundamentals, Cloud Essentials, Communication Skills, Time Management, Prospecting, Professional Brand, Legislation & Regulation, Data Security, Professional Selling Skills, Account Management, Negotiation Skills, Problem Solving, Project Lifecycle.

Further tailored on the job training will be provided throughout the duration of the Apprenticeship. The goal following the successful completion of the apprenticeship, will be, to be assigned a sales territory with monthly targets, excellent basic salary and excellent commissions. An experienced salesperson within Active8, can earn in excess of £100,000, this a platform for someone to take their first step into Sales.
